An integrated circuit (IC) that has several functional blocks, including processors, memory, interfaces, and peripherals, on a single chip is referred to as a SoC in VLSI. The SoC concept’s primary goal is to combine as many parts into a single chip as possible in order to minimize the finished product’s size, power consumption, and cost. SoCs are used in a wide range of electronic products, including smart phones, tablets, IoT devices, and other embedded systems. SoC design requires expertise in various areas, such as digital and analog design, software development, verification, and packaging.
SOC and Subsystem verification is the basis of more than 60% of VLSI verification work. Every verification engineer needs to become an expert in SoC & Subsystem verification ideas. SoC verification involves various techniques and levels, such as simulation, emulation, hardware-software co-verification, and post-silicon validation.
This SoC Design and Verification course focus on building the necessary industry skills required to work in SoC Design/Verification projects. The course focus on industry-standard Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) processors based SoC design, verification, and FPGA emulation. The necessary skills (Verilog HDL Coding for synthesis, FPGA Architecture and programming, System Verilog based Verification, etc.) required to fetch an industry job are covered in this course. The course will transform the successful participants into industry-ready employable engineers.
